You crashed the Diebold campus, exposed vote rigging schemes, and hung out with Jerry Springer. What was the most fun part of making FREE FOR ALL!?

The two most fun moments in production and post-production:

Shooting Rev. Tony Minor’s church service in Cleveland. I’m a non-religious white guy taping in an austere black church in a depressed neighborhood…but wow. The singing, the response, the energy, the passion, it blew my mind. Even watching it later on tape.

Caging the 2008 Election

This mailing went out to Democrats all over Florida. The envelope says DO NOT FORWARD. These are envelopes used to knock people off the voting rolls for supposedly being an illegal voter. The GOP knows it can’t win if you actually counted all the votes and actually let everyone vote. So they strike citizens from the voting rolls by showing that they supposedly don’t live there based on a piece of returned mail.

Sounds messed up, huh? Someone needs to get this story out. So I am leaving for Florida tomorrow to see what I can find.
