Performing Gay Marriages

A decade ago, when it was still too outlaw to even act threatened by it, my show Toolz of the New School attended the Gay Pride Parade in the West Village and committed a crime more outlawed than sodomy: wedding homos. Saint Reverend Jen ceremoniously christens several gay and lesbian couples in a humorous and colorful ceremony that has surprisingly powerful emotional results. This might just be the coolest thing we ever did.
